In this session, Alpha Pi Mu collaborated with the Institute of Industrial Engineers to organize an information and networking session on research opportunities in the field of Industrial Engineering. In this session, we invited four professors and three Undergraduate Research assistants to talk about the following:

• How to sign up for research?

• What are expectations for undergraduates in this role?

• How can students apply Industrial Engineering skills learnt in classes?

Furthermore, in the session, the undergraduate research students elaborated on their prior research experiences with fields ranging from: Football Fantasy Draft Optimization, Crime Analytics and Healthcare. The session ended with an opportunity for networking in the last part of the session.
